Mechanism of Action

Dual agonist at GIP and GLP-1 receptors. Enhanced insulin secretion, reduced glucagon, slowed gastric emptying, appetite suppression. GIP component may increase energy expenditure and improve fat metabolism.

Dosing Protocol

Zepbound: 2.5mg/wk x4 → 5mg → 7.5mg → 10mg → 12.5mg → 15mg (max). Titrate q4wk.
